Determine what length is needed? How high does the pole need to reach?
Measure or estimate the distance from the ground to the top of the highest point you plan to reach. The measuring point on the ground needs to take into consideration any flower beds, bushes, trees or slopes around the building that you may have to contend with. The best way to measure is to drop one end of a line from the highest window sill to the ground, then tying a knot at the window sill for measurement. When making your measurement, remember to add distance accordingly, for the angle and point you are on the ground.

To determine the correct reach, simply drop a weighted line from your highest window sill to the ground (where you will be working from). Measure the line and add the height of the window. This number represents the model number.
Our model numbers are representative of the height reached in feet for each particular window washer, including the height of a typical operator. For example, the Tucker® Model 45, consists of eight- six foot lengths and when used by a typical operator will reach a height of 45 feet.
