As Hawkeye Football Fans, we prefer Rose Bowl births, but as a Customer of FedEx, the Orange Bowl is always nice
Tucker Manufacturing Co., Inc. enjoys many relationships over the 65 years we celebrate in 2010. Two of those relationships are the University of Iowa and FedEx in our company's history. As we welcome in the New Year and our 65Th year of business in 2010, we get to see both the University of Iowa and the FedEx Orange Bowl enjoy a reunion of sorts, with the 2010 Orange Bowl.
Robin and Tommy Tucker enjoyed a trip to South Beach and the 2003 FedEx Orange Bowl Game. The University of Iowa plays a major role in the history of Waterfed. FedEx plays an important role in shipping of Tucker Poles to destinations throughout the USA and the over 25 countries that FedEx has assisted in getting our products door to door or door to airport.
Robin and Tommy Tucker have enjoyed being season ticket holders dating back to the 1950s for Tommy and LaVerne Tucker and the 1970s for Robin. While Tommy and LaVerne don't get to too many Hawkeye home games today, Robin and Carole have enjoyed the 2009 Iowa football season very much and look forward to the conclusion in the 2010 Orange Bowl vs. Georgia Tech.
We want to thank the University of Iowa for their first purchase in 1957 of the Tucker® High Level Window Washer, which was adapted from the home-car washer that Tucker Manufacturing Co., Inc. began manufacturing in the mid-1950s. Waterfed has grown ever since ...
With the January 5Th date of the Orange Bowl this year, we will not be attending the game. Our operations will resume normal operations on Monday, January 4Th. You can expect Robin, Tommy and many Hawkeye fans throughout the globe tuning into this year's game!
