Our FedEx driver notified our staff during Tuesday afternoon's pickup that FedEx may halt pickups on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 due to the Winter Snow Storm in Eastern Iowa. The FedEx employee said that would be the first time in the 11 years that he has worked for FedEx in Cedar Rapids.
Our manufacturing operations were processing orders today and we plan at this time to continue operations for Wednesday, December 9, 2009, but shipments may be delayed per FedEx comments.
Time will tell what the impact of this Winter Storm will be on Iowa. The National Guard is on alert in the State of Iowa.
