The Tucker Pole was one of the tools used in cleaning Biosphere 2 near Tucson, AZ

During the IWCA Trade Show and Convention, last month, we had the opportunity to speak to Five Star Window Care and owner Curt Kempton of Queen Creek, AZ. His "massive Biosphere 2 job" was highlighted in The Professional Window Cleaner magazine Winter 2008 issue, pages 12-15.

The Tucker Pole one of the key tools he used in the cleaning and restoration of the glass at the University of Arizona's Biosphere 2 Project. On page 14 of the story, The Tucker Pole was pictured in use with the caption "A major challenge of the Biosphere project was using acid to clean on such a large scale."

The Arizona Daily Star ran a front page picture and caption of the cleaning and restoration work on Wednesday, October 28, 2008. Here's a link to the Tucker Pole pictured. A closer look of the Tucker Pole is use by Five Star Window Care at Biosphere 2.

We want to congratulate Five Star Window Care on this very unique and unusual cleaning and restoration job. This is not normal use for our products. There are a variety of challenges, especially "Acid Related." As the Professional Window Cleaner magazine captioned, this is "taking waterfed pole use to a new level, employees of 5 Star Window Care tackled 4000 windows of Biosphere 2."

We want to thank Kurt Kempton for his business. We are pleased that our products were able to assist in part in this "massive" cleaning and restoration job.
