Received the following e-mail this morning...
"Classes in the Cedar Rapids Community School District are CANCELLED today ,
December 9, 2008 , because of hazardous weather conditions."
We are taking it slow outside today in the Greater Cedar Rapids area due to to a winter storm here.
On a sad note here at Tucker Manufacturing Co., Inc.:
Reported to the
Window Cleaning Network...
You may have had the pleasure of meeting Gene Siders, when he worked
for Tucker. Gene attended a couple of the window cleaning picnics and
other trade events during his employment with Tucker Manufacturing Co.,
Inc.
Gene, who worked for nearly five years for Tucker, before
his retirement in June 2003, died last Friday, after an unexpected short
illness. Gene was only 67 years old and was survived by his wife of 44
years, Susan; his son, Chris, and other family and friends. Gene would
have celebrated his birthday on Monday.
We wanted to let the World
Group know of Gene's unexpected passing. Our condolences go out to Gene's
family, friends and all those in the industry that had the pleasure of knowing
Gene.
peace
We want to wish everyone a safe travel today and throughout the seasons.
